- How long a session of the Glaring Reality game workshop can be?
- Short answer: Minimum length can range from 2 to 2.5 hours.
- Long answer: The game workshop is typically divided into 3 parts after the initial set-up: Introduction, Game-play, and Reflections. All three parts are critical for a wholesome game workshop. “Introduction” part is almost always of a specific length. Length of “Game-play” part can vary depending on how many teams are made and how many levels each team plays. Length of “Reflections” part can also vary quite. Experience says that this part, almost always, flows organically and we may want to play some additional scenarios as well during reflection session. However, if the time is pre-decided, it is kept in a stipulated time period. Further, based on need and plan, we may have post game sessions wherein we deep-dive into topics around systems, group modelling, system mapping or training around these. So, minimum time can be 2-2.5 hours but it can be more based on the plan that we make together.
- What do we need to organise a game workshop?
