Glaring Reality Game workshop

Glaring Reality game is a facilitated group game. While playing it in any setting can be a fun group experience but for best outcomes and a truly engaging, learning and group-transforming experiences, it is delivered in a workshop setting.

The Glaring Reality game is administered in a custom facilitated workshop setting. The workshop has four key parts:

Introduction: People introductions. Game is introduced, rules are described, teams are created (2-8 person teams), scoreboard is set. Game is good to go!

Game-play: Teams start playing the game – advancing through different levels and gain scores. The fun continues with motion, emotions, uncertainty, triggers, drama. Some additional scenarios are played on & members from different teams can join in a single team.

Reflections: The last part of the game where teams reflect, connect the game with their domains, discuss, and gain collective understanding. Organised start with prompting questions but continues organically. We also play additional scenarios as we reflect as a group for deeper systemic understanding.

Translation to system-level understanding: This is the organic culmination of the reflection session and is equally important part of the workshop when it comes to transformation towards collaboration and team work. This could include circularity, systems thinking workshop, systems mapping & visioning, symbiosis, Theory of Change workshop, group modelling, etc. for teams. The length & components depend on many factors which are discussed with organiser prior to the workshop.
